New employees, locals find townhomes at Valley Bluff

CLINTON, Iowa – People from across the country are coming to Clinton and new townhomes are being built to greet the new residents.

Valley Bluff Townhomes is in the midst of building at least 120 units in the community to provide new housing options for current residents and new residents moving to town for work.

“People are coming here for the jobs. I think that’s great to hear,” said Jenn Vittorio, property manager at Valley Bluff, which is located on Clinton’s south edge off Valley West Drive near Wild Rose Casino and Resort.

The business office is located at 2590 Bristol Drive, Unit 1904. Housing units at Valley Bluff include one-, two- and three-bedroom townhomes and two-story units.

Ms. Vittorio added that the new Valley Bluff residents come from nearly all parts of the country including California, Oregon, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Texas, Minnesota, Illinois and across Iowa.

Valley Bluffs units are being filled with retirees who want ranch-style homes, families in the two-story units, and many young professionals who have moved to Clinton. “The residents are a nice mix of locals and new residents moving to Clinton,” she added.

“Currently, we have built 58 units – a mixture of one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Most of these have been leased or have a deposit on them.  Because of how fast these units are filling up, we recommend anyone interested make a reservation as more desired units are being built as we speak,” said Ryan Harmsen, CEO of No Coast Social, which is in charge of marketing for Valley Bluff.

Mr. Harmsen added that the Valley Bluffs builders decided to start the housing project in Clinton because they saw the business expansion and the need for nice housing in the community.

“The owners are excited to invest in Clinton,” he added.

Valley Bluff’s construction was launched several months ago and residents began moving in last year.

Some of the features of the townhomes include:

  • Attached garages in some units
  • Appliances included
  • Granite countertops
  • Free internet and garbage services.
  • Private patio
  • Pet friendly
  • Open floor plan

Rents start at about $1,150, according to the Valley Bluff website.

“Everything has been built in our ranch and two-story layouts with you in mind,” the website says. “Enjoy a quiet evening on your own patio, plenty of space in our open floor plans, and included appliances.”
