For the second year in a row, Quad City Bank & Trust (QCBT) is proud to sponsor the Giving Guide, an annual Quad Cities Regional Business Journal publication promoting Quad Cities nonprofits and their missions.
The fourth annual publication will be out Monday, June 1, and available throughout the bi-state region. Copies also are mailed to paid QCBJ subscribers and available for purchase at the QCBJ office at 2117 State St., Suite 105, Bettendorf.
Thanks to QCBT’s key sponsorship, nonprofits from the region were able – at no cost to them – to receive a full-color page, which highlights their mission and the valuable work they provide. Through the full-page features for each participating organization, readers can learn how to connect with and support the region’s non-profits through volunteerism or monetary donations.
The deadline for area nonprofits to submit material for the 2026 publication has expired.
According to QCBT, the publication helps readers discover new nonprofits as well as get reacquainted with the many well-established nonprofits serving the Quad Cities.
“QCBT strives to be the source of prosperity and reliability in our region. We aim to fill the buckets of not only our clients who depend on us to run their businesses and daily financial affairs, but also to fill the buckets of those in our community who need it most – our nonprofit organizations,” said QCBT President & CEO Laura “Divot” Ekizian.
Past participants have indicated how the publication’s impact is far-reaching.
“Being featured in the QCBJ Giving Guide connects Hand in Hand to donors and community members who are ready to make a difference but may not yet know we exist,” said Angie Kendall, CEO of Hand in Hand in Bettendorf. “That kind of visibility changes lives, for the people we serve and for the nonprofits doing this work every day.”
QCBT volunteer spirit
Ms. Kendall added “Resources like the Giving Guide strengthen the philanthropic ecosystem in the Quad Cities, and we are grateful to be part of it.”
Giving Guide readers are encouraged to lean in and reflect on all the good being done in the community.
As a community bank, QCBT also supports and urges its employees to become involved in volunteer work and giving back. In fact, QCBT employees volunteered 8,709 hours collectively in 2025 – an average of more than 23 hours each day of the year. The team’s volunteer efforts benefited more than 200 organizations.
“For this reason alone, sponsoring the Giving Guide seemed like a no-brainer,” said Jill Dubin, the bank’s CRA & community development officer. “Giving back is who we are; it’s woven into the founding principles of the bank.”
Founded in 1994, QCBT has been guided by its philosophy that relationships matter. Quad City Bank & Trust is proud to be a local community bank with over $3.0 billion in assets, providing full-service commercial and consumer banking, correspondent banking, trust and asset management services. Headquartered in Bettendorf, QCBT employs 166 individuals at five banking locations throughout the Quad Cities area. For more information, visit www.qcbt.com.
