Modern Woodmen of America, Rock Island, has been ranked 15th on “The World’s Best Life Insurance Companies 2023,” according to Forbes.

The roster was compiled by Forbes with the help of market research firm Statista. More than 30,000 people in 15 countries were surveyed by the firm for the list compiled for the global media company which focuses on business, investing, technology and entrepreneurship.

Participants who held a life insurance policy in the past three years were asked if they would recommend their insurance company to others. Companies were also rated on criteria such as advice employees offered, customer service, price performance, transparency and damage service.

“We’re honored by this recognition and excited about the future,” said Modern Woodmen President and CEO Jerry Lyphout. “We’re making strides each day to improve the quality of life for our members, and we’re committed to helping meet our members’ needs now and for generations to come.”

There are more than 700 life insurers in the United States, and out of 110 companies who made the list, Modern Woodmen ranked No. 15. This achievement would not have been possible without our financial representatives and the members and communities they serve across the nation.

Modern Woodmen was founded in 1883 as a fraternal benefit society. The organization supports members, families and communities with a unique blend of financial services, fraternal programs and local-impact opportunities.
