Live music, local art, tasty eats and more are coming together for Mo.Live!, Moline’s new music and arts festival coming up on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 25-26, downtown Moline in the Vibrant Arena lot.
Mo.Live! — which is free to attend — grew out of last year’s Sesquicentennial Celebration. It will feature two stages offering music spanning multiple genres and styles, according to a news release. A Friday night stage takeover with Mercado on 5th will be headlined by Banda Arperena from Chicago and the local band, Crooked Cactus. Saturday’s headliners include Eric Gales, and The Main Squeeze, an LA-based five-piece band.
More than 15 other bands also will take the stages throughout the Mo.Live! weekend, including everything from national touring bands to local ensembles, the release states.
