The center is in what had once been a Sam’s Warehouse. Leaders are inviting educators and others to tour Inspiration Center. There they can explore the dynamic learning environment and resources available at JA BizTown and JA Finance Park.
The event will feature a special news conference to unveil the official naming of JA BizTown. It marks a significant milestone in the center’s mission to inspire and prepare young people for success in a global economy.
“We are thrilled to host this open house for our educators and to celebrate the naming of JA BizTown,” said Dougal Nelson, president and CEO for JA of the Heartland. “This is a significant moment for Junior Achievement as we continue to expand our impact, empowering students with the skills they need to succeed in life and work.”
The newly named JA BizTown will continue to serve as an essential component of the JA Inspiration Center. It will provide students with an immersive experience in running a simulated economy.
During the open house, educators from across the region are invited to tour the JA Inspiration Center. They can engage with interactive exhibits, and learn how JA BizTown and JA Finance Park provide students with hands-on experiences. They include in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.
