IMEG seeking engineering scholarship applicants

IMEG is looking for college students who will be sophomores, juniors, and seniors next year who have a financial need and are interested in pursuing an engineering degree to apply for its scholarships. 

Headquartered in Rock Island, IMEG is giving individual scholarships of up to $10,000 to multiple students nationwide.

Scholarships are available for students who in the 2025-2026 academic year will be sophomores, juniors, and seniors and who have a financial need. The application deadline is Friday, March 14.

Scholarship eligibility 

  • Students must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Students must demonstrate financial need.
  • Students must be pursuing a degree related to IMEG’s design consulting services.
  • Students must be enrolled as a full-time student, and either a sophomore, junior or senior in the fall of 2025.
  • Students may not be currently employed at IMEG, or related to an IMEG employee.
  • Students must have two letters of recommendation and an unofficial transcript.

Qualifications

  • Students must be at least a sophomore in the fall of 2025.
  • Students must be seeking one of the following degrees: Air Conditioning, Refrigerating, Heating and Ventilating Engineering Technology, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology, Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Structural Engineering, Surveying and Geomatics Engineering, or Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Technology.
