A new Hy-Vee Health Exemplar Clinic has opened at 4255 Elmore Ave., Davenport. Hy-Vee announced on Monday, Feb. 24, that the health clinic was open for health care. Go here for more information.
The clinic is the fifth to open in Iowa. It offers walk-in care to the general public from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Patients of all ages can be seen for “a variety of non-life-threatening conditions including flu, fever, earaches, sprains, simple fractures, cuts and more,” Hy-Vee said.
Exemplar Care also offers monthly health care memberships to employer groups, individuals and families. Members can get unlimited access to direct primary care and walk-in care at the clinic. They also can connect with health providers anytime via text, email, or telehealth. In person primary care appointments are available 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Hy-Vee became a joint owner of Exemplar Care in 2024. The practice was later renamed to Hy-Vee Health Exemplar Care. Today it operates clinics in Ankeny, Bondurant, Des Moines and West Des Moines, Iowa. More locations are expected to open across the Midwest in the next several months.
