Gordon’s first State of the City set for June 11

    Davenport Mayor Jason Gordon will deliver his first-ever State of the City address on Thursday, June 11, during a breakfast event at the Putnam Museum and Science Center. 

    Mr. Gordon, a former Davenport alderman elected mayor last November, will share his vision for the City of Davenport and key initiatives as well as highlight the past year’s accomplishments, the city said in a news release Monday, May 4.

    Doors will open at 8 a.m. followed by the program at 8:30 a.m.

    The event is open to the public, but pre-registration is required to attend. Tickets cost $20, which includes the breakfast buffet.

    Registration is now open at davenportiowa.com/soc through Friday, May 22.
