Family Credit Union makes summer fun affordable

For the seventh year, The Family Credit Union is launching what it calls Family Discount Day$. It’s a summer program to support local nonprofit organizations and provide discounts to Quad Citians.

The credit union’s discount offers allow Quad Citians to visit local attractions on Mondays during the summer at reduced prices.

Each year, the Quad Cities not-for-profit financial cooperative chooses five non-profit organizations to support throughout the region. The discounts are open to everyone. Visitors this year will get the opportunity to visit these five attractions at greatly discounted admission rates on June 13, 20 and 27 and July 11, 18 and 25:

Family Museum: Admission is $5 for everyone, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., 2900 Learning Campus Drive, Bettendorf.

Putnam Museum: $3 admission for everyone (There is an additional admission charge for the Giant Theatre), 10 a.m.-5 p.m., 1717 W. 12th St., Davenport.
