ABC Supply Co., Inc. recently promoted Matt Wentzel, branch manager of the Davenport location, to managing partner, the company announced in a news release.
To be selected as a managing partner of ABC Supply, the largest wholesale distributor of roofing and other select exterior and interior building products in North America, according to the release, Mr. Wentzel met rigorous requirements in associate development, customer satisfaction, branch performance, safety compliance and excellence in overall business practices.
As a managing partner, Mr. Wentzel will continue to manage the Davenport location while also participating in ABC Supply’s National Branch Advisory Board, which advises senior management on a wide range of topics that help shape future strategic business initiatives, the release states.
“Matt consistently demonstrates the outstanding leadership skills we look for in our managers at ABC Supply,” Mike Jost, ABC Supply’s chief operating officer, said in the release. “We’re proud to recognize his unwavering dedication to helping our associates and customers succeed by promoting him to managing partner.”
Mr. Wentzel has been with ABC Supply since 2011 and has worked in inside sales at three locations across the Midwest, including Green Bay, Wisconsin; Hazelwood, Missouri; and Indianapolis, Indiana. He served as a delivery services manager for the LaCrosse, Wisconsin, location before being promoted to branch manager in Davenport in 2015.
