
LECLAIRE, Iowa – The LeClaire Chamber of Commerce presented its recognition awards during its annual meeting earlier this month at the Mississippi River Distilling Co.’s Celebration Center.
Local business leaders and retailers crowned as the 2025 winners at the dinner on Saturday, April 5. The winners are:
- Connie Allen, Volunteer of the Year. The award recognizes exceptional volunteer efforts that contribute to the vibrancy of LeClaire.
- Christmas in LeClaire, Event of the Year. This award honors the event that best demonstrates LeClaire’s hospitality and community spirit.
- Bela, The Golden Pineapple Customer Service Award. which recognizes the individual or business that best exemplifies LeClaire’s hospitality.
- Shelly’s Sweet Sensation, The Brick and Mortar Award, which recognizes the business which has most improved or built its facility in keeping with LeClaire’s charm.

- Aunt Hattie’s Fanciful Emporium, Spirit of LeClaire Award. The award recognizes the business, individual or service who led with spirit as a shining example of perseverance through the year’s challenges.
In addition, the evening celebrated the growth of new businesses and business expansions over the past year. LeClaire Chamber President Rob Cain recognized these 2024 business developments: Crafted QC, Starbucks, Zarubas Salon & Spa, LeClaire Plant Co., Setchell Chiropractic, Shelly’s Sweet Sensations and MOODY.
