The LeClaire Cocoa Crawl 2025 is set for 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at many businesses in the community.
Many of those businesses will celebrate all things chocolate by offering free chocolate samples and shopping specials during the day.
Here are many of the businesses scheduled to participate:
- Antique Archaeology: To be announced.
- Aunt Hattie’s: Specials on everything chocolate in the store.
- Bela: “Buy one/get a free” on chocolate drinks. Plus, “buy one/get one half off” Fireside canisters. Boxes of chocolates giveaway between 1-3 p.m.
- Cody Road Coffee: Scotcheroo samples.
- Cody Road Trading Post: Chocolate marshmallow brownie samples.
- Crafted QC: Two flavors of cocoa samples and cocoa, latte, chai and cider mixes to purchase. Grab a tasty brownie bite. Winter themed products 25% off and 10% off all original art.
- The Crane & Pelican Cafe: Free hot fudge with the purchase of ice cream 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 22.
- Ember on the Hill: Hot chocolate giveaways with any purchase while supplies last.
- Emily Found It: Free chocolate treats.
- Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream: New chocolate ice cream flavors.
- The Kitsch-n Sink Antiques: Free hot cocoa; half-price on all mugs; $10 Spring craft bar 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- LeClaire Olive Oil Co.: Free samples of some treats; olive oils and balsamic vinegars.
- Mississippi Cottage Antiques: Free chocolate chunk, oatmeal, pecan cookies starting at 10 a.m. while supplies last.
- Mississippi River Distilling Company: Hot chocolate cocktail for sale; $2 off all bottles of their cream liqueurs. Enjoy a plain hot chocolate.
- Nest Modern Goods: To be determined.
- Of Heaven and Earth: Passing out Lindt chocolates 1-3 p.m.
- The Potter’s House: Free samples of homemade macadamia nut turtles (while supplies last) and 15% off any piece of Polish pottery with a chocolate brown color on it. Good all day on Saturday.
- Razzleberries: Free samples of The Shameless Chocoholic’s chocolate covered almonds and English toffee bites.
- Shelly’s Sweet Sensations Bakery & Eatery: A free homemade chocolate truffle or homemade chocolate with any purchase.
- Wide River Winery Tasting Room: Visit remodeled tasting room; sample top selling wine Pursuit of Happiness paired with house-made chocolate torte, noon to 3 pm. Live music with Lewis Knudsen 5-7 p.m.
