It’s almost time for the 2023 Quad-City Times Bix 7 road race.
But if you think the event is just one race, you’re wrong. There are several race-related events, parties and expos coming in the next few days.
Here are the Bix 7-related events and races planned in Davenport this weekend:
- The Running Wild Sports and Fitness Expo: 5-9 p.m. Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the RiverCenter, 136 E. Third St.
- The Genesis Sports Medicine Brady Street Sprints: 7 p.m. Thursday. The starting line is Fifth and Brady streets. The finish line is the KWQC TV station at 805 Brady St.
- The Bill Rodgers Shake Out Run: 8 a.m. Friday at the Quad-City Times statues at Fourth Street and River Drive.
- The Pre-Race Elite Athlete Party: 3-5 p.m. Friday at St. Ambrose University, Rogalski Center, 518 W. Locust St.
- Arconic Jr. Bix races: 6 p.m. Friday, Third Street between LeClaire Street and River Drive.
- The Quad-City Times Bix 7 race: 8 a.m. Saturday at Fourth and Brady streets.
- The Prairie Farms Quick Bix: 8 a.m. Saturday at Fourth and Brady streets.
- The Walmart Post Race Party: 8-11 a.m. Saturday at the Quad-City Times.
- Top 10 Awards ceremony: 10 a.m. Saturday at the Quad-City Times, 500 E. Third St.
- Age Group winners ceremony: 11 a.m. Saturday at the R. Richard Bittner YMCA, 630 E. Fourth St.
