Isabel Bloom continues 60th year with new festival

    As a thank you to the Quad Cities community for its longtime patronage, Isabel Bloom is hosting the first-time festival Peace. Love. & Bloom. on Friday, June 30, at its Davenport headquarters.

    The festival coincides with the company’s 60th year in business. The family-friendly event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot of the company’s Store and Tour Center located at 736 Federal Street in Davenport. Admission is free. The store will be open until 7 p.m. 

    “This festival is our way of thanking our loyal customers,” says Donna Young, co-owner and artist. “For the past 60 years they have made Isabel Bloom a part of their gift-giving and family traditions.”

    Festivities will include:

    • Live music by singer/songwriter Lewis Knudsen, who will be performing popular songs from the 60s.
    • Crafts and activities (free for children). 
    • Bragg BBQ food truck will be onsite.
    • Door prizes.
    • “Large Hugging Children” sculpture in a special patriotic finish will be awarded as the grand prize.
    • A new 2023 Bus Ornament will available at a special discounted price of $13 each during the festival.

    Guests are invited to dress in their favorite tie-dye and 60’s apparel and encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and beverages.
