
YWCA Quad Cities is proud to host “That’s What She Said” at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, at the YWCA Empowerment Center, 1115 Mississippi Ave., Davenport.
“That’s What She Said” will feature eight Quad Cities women sharing their personal experiences, challenges and triumphs. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, network with like-minded individuals, and be inspired by the resilience and strength of the women around them.
Speakers for the 2024 event are: Jackie Celske, Jacq Houtekier, Mary Macumber-Schmidt, Steph Madsen, Erin Mahr, Destiny Smith, Ashley Velez and Lauren Alexis Wood.
“This event is a testament to our commitment to creating a space where women can come together, share their stories, and inspire one another,” said YWCA Quad Cities CEO Julie Larson.
That’s What She Said originally began in Bloomington, Illinois, in 2019 and has expanded throughout Illinois and Missouri. Learn more about That’s What She Said at www.shesaidproject.com.
Tickets are $25 and available here.
Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. with the program starting promptly at 5:30 p.m. Appetizers and beverages are included in the price of the ticket.
