Olivia, Amelia and Elijah – those are just some of the top contenders for the most popular baby names at UnityPoint Heath – Trinity.
In its traditional year-end announcement, Trinity BirthPlace Bettendorf and Moline revealed the five most popular baby names of 2024.
For UnityPoint Health – Trinity BirthPlace Bettendorf, the top boy names were: Elijah, Hudson, James, Oliver and Weston. The top girl names were: Amelia, Emerson, Layla, Olivia and Penelope.
For UnityPoint Health – Trinity BirthPlace Moline, the top girl names were: Amelia, Evelyn, Lainey, Olivia and Willow. The top boy names were: Andrew, Elijah, Gabriel, Grayson and Leo.
Olivia and Noah are holding strong, once again, as the top names nationwide in 2024, according to BabyCenter.
The labor and delivery teams at Trinity BirthPlace are honored to have helped more than 1,500 families welcome a baby into the world to date this year, the hospital said in a news release earlier this week. Trinity BirthPlace provides specialized and supportive care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery and recovery after birth.

The Moline and Bettendorf maternity facilities have been recognized by Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield with a Blue Distinction Centers+ (BDC+) for Maternity Care designation, as part of the Blue Distinction Specialty Care program. To earn this designation, each facility must safely deliver cost-effective, quality care.
