Six advisors from Northwestern Mutual’s Eastern Iowa office, including two from Davenport, have been named Forbes’ Best-In-State Top Financial Security Professionals, according to a news release.
The local honorees include David Kreiter and Jim Houghton, both of Five Cities Financial in Davenport.
Only 17 advisors from Iowa made the prestigious list, which recognizes top-performing financial advisors providing holistic financial planning, focusing on risk mitigation, wealth management and a personal planning experience, according to the release from Northwestern Mutual.
“Finding answers to financial concerns and questions isn’t easy,” Kalvin Grabau Keele, managing partner of Northwestern Mutual Eastern Iowa, said in the release. “The teams on this are some of the best at helping clients understand that in the State of Iowa. They do a tremendous job helping our clients as well as mentoring our young financial reps and advisors that are breaking into the industry.”
Each advisor — selected by SHOOK Research — is chosen based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative criteria, including in-person interviews, industry experience, compliance records, revenue produced and assets under management, the release states.
“Our clients, communities and internal teams have seen the great work these six advisors have done over the years,” Mr. Grabau Keele said. “I’m excited that they are receiving the recognition they deserve.”
