Transform your leadership potential with new BHC program

Black Hawk College (BHC) is launching a new leadership program, Turning Chance Into Change: Transform Your Leadership Potential.

According to a BHC new release, in six sessions attendees will:

  • Learn tips and strategies to develop your skills.
  • Engage with peers and community leaders while developing essential skills for leadership success.
  • Gain valuable and relevant information that you can use immediately in your workplace, no matter your position or role.

All leadership classes are Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon at the BHC College Quad-Cities Campus in Moline.

Dates and topics in 2025 are:

  • Jan. 24 – Communicating for Superior Teamwork: Managing Your Communication Style.
  • Feb. 14 – The Principles of Authentic Leadership.
  • Feb. 28 – Communication Excellence: Managing Performance with DiSC.
  • March 21 – Providing Feedback That Works.
  • April 11 – Coaching: Developing Others.
  • May 9 – Giving Recognition That Gets Results.

Cost is $2,370. Grant funding is available for those who qualify. Ask for details.
