There’s still time left – but not too much – to register for the Big Brother Big Sisters (BBBS) of the Mississippi Valley’s 18th annual Putt A Round happening next week in downtown Davenport.

Registration will close at the end of day on Friday, Feb. 3, with the golfing fun set to begin at the RiverCenter on Wednesday, Feb. 8, through Friday, Feb. 10. More than 1,500 participants attend BBBS Putt-A-Round each year – and many consider it a “must do” winter activity.

To pre-register you and your team for the 2023 Putt A Round, visit here.

Presented by the Quad City Area Realtors Association and Malik J. Khalik/Khalik Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, the fundraiser offers participants the opportunity to have fun while helping Quad Cities youth become part of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ one-to-one mentoring program.

This hole was designed by Iowa American Water for last year’s Big Brothers Big Sister Putt A Round. The Davenport-based company has sponsored a hole for all 18 years the event has been in the Quad Cities and will bring eight company teams to the 2023 event. CREDIT BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS

Putt A Round includes 24 custom-built, miniature golf holes designed by Quad Cities area businesses. Hole sponsors include: Arconic, Iowa American Water, Estes Construction, Russell, ALM Positioners, Goetz Concrete, Valley Construction and more. The QCBJ will be at this year’s event as the Team Photo sponsor.

Participants can choose from seven shifts Wednesday through Friday – including lunch, early afternoon and evening shifts. Putters can register as an individual or by team; the cost is $30 per person and supports BBBS.

Teams are comprised of co-workers, friends, or family members. Registration includes a round of golf, food from area restaurants, contest prizes, music and much more. Beverages and other games are available for purchase at the event.

Walk-ins are welcome on event days, but will be limited. Participants are asked to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled shift start.

Visit here for days and shift times, or contact the BBBS office at (563) 323-8006 for more information.
