The Arc of the Quad Cities (ARC) and representatives from Lane & Waterman LLP, will present a workshop on guardianship for an adult with disabilities. The event will be from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Arc’s facility at 4016 9th St., Rock Island.
Tim Gulbranson of Lane & Waterman, Davenport, will provide information about the significant decision of guardianship, as it involves the removal of some or all of a person’s legal rights to make decisions for themselves. He also will discuss less restrictive alternatives to support the individual in decision-making.
