Rock Island’s Circa ’21 Speakeasy will host a four-performance engagement of a Tony-nominated Broadway hit: William Goldman’s Stephen King adaptation ‘Misery’ from Friday, Feb. 21 through Friday, Feb. 28.

This terrifying, darkly funny tale is beloved by horror devotees who devoured Mr. King’s bestseller and Rob Reiner’s 1990 film version starring Oscar winner Kathy Bates.

For its four performances, doors open at 7 p.m. for the Friday night shows at 8 p.m. The Sunday, Feb. 23, show will be at 6 p.m. with doors opening at 5 p.m. Admission is $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the show. Due to the play’s violence and the adult themes and language, only patrons ages 18 and older will be admitted.

Reservations are available through the Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse ticket office. For reservations, contact the 1828 3rd Ave. theater at (309) 786-7733 ext. 2, or visit www.thecirca21speakeasy.com.
