Solutions Management Group (SMG) announced its successful acquisition of Professional Communications and Falcon Security in a news release.

This marks the Davenport-based SMG’s second acquisition this year. The company said it’s another pivotal milestone in becoming a premier provider of comprehensive technology solutions. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Professional Communications and its umbrella company Falcon Security comes on the heels of SMG’s purchase in April of Structured Cabling Specialist. That network cabling solution provider is based in Tipton, Iowa.

Professional Communications and Falcon Security will now be rebranded as SMG. It will remain in its current location in Davenport. The companies’ three employees are now part of SMG’s 100-person staff.

Professional Communications brings more than 55 years of combined experience in data communications. It also integrates data and communication networks with expertise in project management, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion, the release said. Falcon Security specializes in delivering customized, high-quality security solutions to its clients.

In its release, SMG said their locally oriented approach strengthens customer connections. It allows them to accurately meet specific requirements and ensure peace of mind. Utilizing advanced technologies and industry best practices, Falcon Security crafts tailored security solutions.

Founded in 1995, SMG is a leading provider of comprehensive business solutions, specializing in technology lifecycle management, workflow automation, print and document solutions, integrated support, structured cabling, and video security & access. It is located at 5433 Tremont Ave.

SMG said as the company continues to grow it is focused on ensuring a seamless integration process and leveraging the collective expertise of both teams. For more information, visit www.smgtech.biz.
