A Scott County business has been awarded a Small Business Administration loan totaling $500,000, according to the SBA’s Iowa district office.
In October, the SBA awarded IAFIT Holdings LLC, Davenport, a $500,000 loan to retain 35 jobs at “a fitness and recreational sports center,” the SBA’s October report said.
The SBA 7(a) and 504 programs also capitalized 20 new and 19 existing businesses across Iowa that report creating 89 new jobs and retaining 290 jobs as a result.
