Rock Island-based Royal Neighbors of America has been included in Forbes’ America’s Best Insurance Companies 2025 national ranking.
The America’s Best Insurance Companies 2025 ranking was determined based on an independent survey of over 18,000 U.S. citizens across the nation. Participants evaluated the insurance companies they have held within the last three years on six different subdimensions: advice, customer service, price and performance, transparency, digital services, and damage and benefit service.
In addition, participants rated their insurance companies on satisfaction, loyalty, and overall recommendation. The recommendations and ratings were transformed into score values and aggregated towards a final score across five insurance types: Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Permanent Life, and Term Life.
Based on the results of the study, the mission-driven, fraternal benefit society said it is honored to be recognized on Forbes’ America’s Best Insurance Companies 2025 list.
The Forbes’ recognition is presented each year in collaboration with Statista, the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The list can be viewed at Forbes.com, a nonprofit insurance organization.

Statista is known for its rigorous research and analysis, producing numerous industry rankings and company listings in collaboration with prominent media partners. Mission-driven community
The insurance membership community, which was one of the first to make life insurance accessible to women, was created in 1895 by nine founding women. Now, 130 years later, the organization’s more than 275,000 members, chapters, employees, and appointed agents across the country drive the mission through localized volunteerism and philanthropy programs making social impact the cornerstone of their work.
In 2020, Royal Neighbors also was upgraded to “A Excellent” – third highest out of 13 – by the AM Best Company for overall financial strength and ability to meet ongoing obligations to certificate holders. The rating was affirmed in December 2024.
In 2024, Royal Neighbors delivered $43.85 million in Social Good impact, record revenue. In 2024, Royal Neighbors received its eighth Great Place to Work certification and was rated as a 2025 Best Insurance Company by Forbes.
