In recognition of the USA’s 250th anniversary, MRA – The Management Association is celebrating its own 125 years of supporting employers and leaders with complimentary training during July for active military members, veterans, and first responders.

MRA, with Quad Cities operations in Moline, recently announced the training opportunities as a gesture of their appreciation. “These individuals demonstrate leadership, resilience, and a commitment to service that strengthens workplaces and communities every day,” the Wisconsin-based employer association said in a news release.

To show its appreciation, MRA is providing eligible participants with one complimentary seat in select professional development and training programs during the month of July. The training is valued at up to $1,470.

“We’re incredibly grateful for the men and women who serve our country and our communities,”  Susan Fronk, MRA’s president and CEO, said in the release. “As we celebrate both our nation’s 250th anniversary and MRA’s 125-year legacy, we are honored to recognize their contributions by investing in their continued professional growth.”

For 125 years, MRA has helped leaders and organizations develop the skills needed to navigate change, strengthen workplace cultures, and achieve their goals.

The new initiative, she added, “reflects our belief that leadership development creates stronger workplaces, stronger organizations, and stronger communities.”

Courses are available in person, live online, and through on-demand formats, which offers flexible opportunities for the targeted workforce. Classes aim to build leadership, management, communication, and professional skills.
