A new downtown Davenport jewelry business is getting set to celebrate its grand opening.

Rosalee Jewelry, located at 221 E. Second St., will hold the event from noon to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 20.

During the grand opening event, customers and visitors will be able to look over the collection. There will be light refreshments as well as fine jewelry give-away items.

Rosalee Jewelry was started by Amanda Frazer, a Quad Cities native with over 10 years of experience in custom jewelry manufacturing, with the idea of personalizing the jewelry shopping experience.

“Jewelry is one of the greatest forms of expression and usually symbolizes important moments in someone’s life – the designing of that jewelry should be special and personal,” Ms. Frazer said in a news release. “I want to be the one to help you tell your story.”

Private jewelers are growing in popularity across the country because they offer one-on-one appointments to educate and focus on getting to know each individual’s needs.

Rosalee Jewelry sources stones and designs around the customer’s preferences, budget and style. Most popular stones are mined or are lab created diamonds and sapphires in any color. In addition to engagement rings and wedding bands, Rosalee Jewelry specializes in restyling previously worn jewelry and family heirlooms.

Updates on Rosalee Jewelry can be viewed on its business Facebook page.
