The mission of Rescued is to support animal welfare by donating profits to local vet clinics, animal shelters, rescue groups and many pets in need.

“This mission has grown into a community of loyal volunteers, donors, customers, and furry friends who all share in its vision. Since opening the shop in September 2015, we have been able to offer financial assistance to pets in need every single month,” the Rescued website said.

The shop is near GoGo’s Variety and Vapor and Creative Pastry and Coffee, along Silvis’ growing 1st Avenue.

Rescued is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
