Phi Theta Kappa chapter to host 2nd Boothday Festival

The Scott Community College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa invites the community to attend the second annual Boothday Festival from 3 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25.  

Boothday is an inclusive, free, family-friendly event. Festival attendees can enjoy face painting, games, a bounce house, a petting zoo and a showcase of first responders. In addition, there will be music and La Flama on Wheels will be selling food from 4 to 6:30 p.m.  

The festival and all events will take place in parking lot F on the SCC campus, 500 Belmont Road, Bettendorf.  

PTK is the international honor society for two-year colleges and provides its members with programs focused on scholarship, leadership and service. Students also are eligible for transfer scholarships.
