Golf season is here.

The Palmer Hills Golf Course in Bettendorf is opening this week. The driving range opens today, Tuesday, March 21. The golf course opens Wednesday, March 22.

“It’s definitely a sign of spring to announce that the golf course is opening,” said Jon Waddell, head golf pro, at Palmer. “Time to put winter in the rearview mirror as we look forward to another great golf season.”

Palmer Hills is located at 2999 Middle Road, Bettendorf. This award-winning public 18-hole golf course was established in 1974. In 2022, Palmer Hills was named the top golf course in the Quad Cities area by “Locals Love Us” for the 10th year in a row.

Palmer Hills is also home to The Forge. This unique putting experience features 18 engaging holes suited for everyone – beginners, avid golfers, friends, and families.

Also new this year, the Palmer Grill is under a new partnership between the City of Bettendorf and Food Drink Friends, Inc. It plans to open with a full menu on April 1, but will serve limited food/drinks through the end of March. People can learn more at www.bettendorf.org/PalmerGrill.
