The new $50 million, state-of-the-art ORA Orthopedics medical center building is open for business in northern Bettendorf.
The 113,000-square-foot medical facility and administrative headquarters opened on Monday, Feb. 9. The latest ORA facility is located next to the TBK Bank Sports Complex at 5250 Competition Drive in the business neighborhood called The Plex. It replaces ORA’s previous Bettendorf clinic and surgery center at 2300 53rd Ave.
“Opening day went very well, and the move has been smooth for both our patients and our team,” Ken Brockman, ORA Orthopedics CEO, told the QCBJ. “This new Bettendorf campus represents a major step forward in how orthopedic care is delivered in the Quad Cities — bringing clinic services, outpatient surgery, physical therapy, and advanced imaging together in one modern, connected facility.”
He added by designing the campus around coordinated care, ORA is able to reduce delays, streamline the patient experience, and support faster recovery. Patients can be evaluated, receive imaging, begin therapy, and – when needed – get scheduled for outpatient surgical care with a team that works together in one place. That connected model improves both efficiency and outcomes.

Some of the features of the new ORA facility include:
- A 51,000-square-foot orthopedic outpatient surgical center.
- 10 operating rooms and two procedure rooms.
- 14,000 square feet of physical and occupational therapy space with an aquatic therapy pool.
- An advanced imaging suite with MRI, CT and digital X-ray.
- Clinical offices for orthopedic surgeons with a specialized orthopedic focused walk-in Urgent OrthoCARE.
In the Quad Cities region, ORA has other facilities at: 520 Valley View Drive, Moline; 6101 Northwest Blvd., Davenport; 985 Avenue of the Cities, Silvis; 1225 S. Oakwood Ave., Geneseo, Illinois; and in eastern Iowa at 900 14th St., DeWitt; 3426 N. Port Drive, Muscatine; and 2900 S. 25th St., Clinton.
