A bridal expo event – called NABE for Not Another Bridal Expo – is set for Saturday, Jan. 7, at the RiverCenter, 136 E. Third St., in downtown Davenport.
NABE will be 3-7 p.m. Saturday, and an afterparty begins at 8:30 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 959 Middle Road, Bettendorf.
NABE (pronounced nah-bay) was created when the former QC bridal expo’s vendors came together to stage a wedding so that brides and grooms could see what they offered rather than simply hear about it. There are multiple vendors featured within each of a number of categories of wedding planning.
Some of the events at this year’s NABE also will include a cocktail hour, grand entrance, dinner, musical/dance performances, prizes, and other surprises. VIP and Platinum ticket holders get access to ride the party bus to the afterparty where clients can expect a DJ battle, hors d’oeuvres hosted by the venue, and an overnight stay at the end of the event for Platinum ticket holders.
To participate, clients must purchase a ticket at www.NabeLove.com. Tickets range from $65 for general admission to $320 for Platinum access.
