Nominate a BHC alum for 2023 Hall of Fame

BHC

Do you know a Black Hawk College graduate who can stand shoulder to shoulder with fellow alumni including the late U.S. Rep. Lane Evans; Living Lands and Water founder Chad Pregracke; East Moline Mayor Reggie Freeman; and the late Robert Ontiveros, chairman and founder of Group O?

Then the Black Hawk College Quad-Cities Foundation is urging you to nominate them for its Class of 2023 Alumni Hall of Fame. Nominations are being taken through Thursday, Dec. 15.

The Black Hawk College, with its two campuses in Moline and Kewanee, Illinois, and several outreach sites, has a longstanding tradition of excellence, according to a news release from the foundation. Its BHC Hall of Fame, which has been in existence since 1987, is designed to recognize outstanding individual graduates for their professional and community service.

Members are selected using two fundamental criteria:

  • Outstanding distinction and success in their chosen field.
  • Humanitarian service that has proven beneficial to society.

The inductees will be announced April 6, 2023, at the foundation’s Black and Gold Celebration.
