Midwest Government Contracting Symposium set

The Iowa-Illinois Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) is hosting the 15th annual Midwest Government Contracting Symposium on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21-22, at Vibrant Arena at The Mark in Moline.

The event will give attendees vital insight into the latest information in government contracting and Army Doctrine, as well as allow them to take advantage of the chance to interact with key government and industry experts.

This year’s theme, “Transformation for the Future Fight,” focuses on exploring the multifaceted challenges and innovations required for future combat and defense strategies. Areas of interest include Technological Advancements in Warfare, Enhancing Cybersecurity and Information Warfare Strategies, Strategic Resource Allocation and Defense Budgeting, and more.

“This Symposium offers two, jam-packed days of valuable content that you won’t want to miss,” said Natalie Linville-Mass,  president of the Iowa-Illinois NDIA Chapter.

Registration for this event can be completed here. This page also will provide information regarding lodging for out-of-town guests.

“For those interested in sponsoring this event, please reach out for sponsorship packets. We appreciate everyone’s contribution to the event, and cannot wait to see you there,” Symposium Director Logan Brincks said in a news release.

Within the Quad Cities region, there are so many individuals and businesses contracting with organizations on the Rock Island Arsenal. The Quad Cities is ranked as the third most industrially diverse area in the United States, making this event crucial to its attendees and sponsors, NDIA said. The symposium grants these groups the opportunity to gather once a year and work to advance the goals of The Defense Department in this region.
