Six years ago, Jim Houghton and David Kreiter formed their partnership wealth management firm, Five Cities Financial. This March, Michael Eli McNall became a minority-stake partner in the firm, the company announced.

“Obviously, as a firm, we are excited,” Mr. Kreiter said in a news release. “Eli (Mr. McNall) earning this opportunity stems from serving the needs of our current and prospective clients for the long term. We want our clients to know they will have someone to rely on beyond Jim and me.”

Bringing on more partners was Five Cities Financial’s next phase of growth. “Adding Eli to the partnership continues to enhance the client experience. The ability for each advisor to develop specialized roles allows us to address more complex situations and needs for our clients,” Mr. Houghton said.

“Due to the sheer size of our team, we can execute agreed-upon goals quickly and correctly,” he added.

For Mr. McNall, this “means a lot to me because there’s an opportunity for endless growth personally and professionally,” he said. “Giving our clients peace of mind knowing that we have a plan beyond our working years is crucial because it’s not something they have to worry about.”

Mr. Houghton, Mr. Kreiter and Mr. McNall use Five Cities Financial as a marketing name for doing business as representatives of Northwestern Mutual, according to the release. Northwestern Mutual is the marketing name for The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company and its subsidiaries.

Mr. McNall joined Northwestern Mutual and Kreiter’s team seven years ago. He has been an associate wealth management advisor with Retirement Income Certified Professional designation.
