Rock Island Mayor Mike Thoms will discuss the city’s accomplishments in 2022 and its goals moving forward during his State of the City address on Monday, Jan. 9.
The mayor will share his message twice that day beginning with a joint meeting of the Rock Island Rotary & Kiwanis.
The organizations will co-present the State of the City of Rock Island during a noon luncheon at the Quad City Botanical Center, 2525 Fourth Ave. Business and community leaders as well as city officials are expected to attend.
That evening, Mr. Thoms will present his State of the City address during the Rock Island City Council meeting. The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. at Rock Island City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend.
