
The upcoming Chillin’ in the Courtyard celebrations will bring music, food, and fun back to Moline’s Historic Block Courtyard in August and September.
The celebrations will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 and Sept. 14, at the Historic Block Courtyard, 1520 River Drive. Admission is free and attendees are asked to bring a lawn chair.
“We are excited to bring music back to the courtyard with a great combination of young talent and local favorites,” said Kirk Marske, Moline Centre program manager. “These events will showcase two young artists from the Sound Conservatory and musicians from Wilson Middle School, plus Mo Carter and Ryan Bizarri.”
The Historic Block Courtyard is located next to The River House Bar and Grill. Food and beverages are available for purchase at the events. Locations are River House and other nearby merchants including Dead Poet’s Espresso, Little Brown Box Deli, and Bad Boyz Pizza.
On Aug. 10, the live music starts at 11 a.m. with Carma Chavez, Mo Carter performs from noon to 3 p.m. The event on Sept. 14, also starts at 11 a.m. Music will be by Eva Kendall and Ryan Bizarri until 1 p.m., and Wilson’s School of Rock from 1-3 p.m.
Chillin’ in the Courtyard is presented by the Moline Centre Program.
