Lee Enterprises to host meetings with investors

Officials with Davenport-based newspaper publisher Lee Enterprises will host meetings with investors at the Sidoti May Virtual Investor Conference, taking place on Wednesday and Thursday, May 8-9.

Lee announced in a news release on Monday, May 6, that its CEO Kevin Mowbray and Chief Financial Officer Tim Millage  will hold a group presentation and host one-on-one meetings with investors during the conference. 

The group presentation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8,  and can be accessed live here. Lee Enterprises also will host virtual one-on-one with investors on Wednesday and Thursday, May 8-9. In the Quad Cities region, Lee is the publisher of the Quad-City Times, The Dispatch/Rock Island Argus and Muscatine Journal newspapers. It publishes more than 350 weekly and specialty publications serving 73 markets in 26 states.

Last week, Lee released its second quarter report.

Some of the top highlights of the report included:

  • Lee’s total digital revenue of $71 million now represents 48% of the company’s total revenues.
  • Digital-only subscription revenues increased by 48%.
  • However, the company’s print advertising and print subscription revenues are both falling sharply.
