A veterinary hospital in Davenport is almost ready for its new home and new name.

Kimberly Crest Veterinary Hospital & Specialty Services, 1423 E. Kimberly Road, will soon be moving to a new building at 1301 E. 53rd St.

The animal care business is scheduled to move to the new building on June 10. When it moves, Kimberly Crest will change its name and be known as Creekside Veterinary Hospital & Referral Center, according to an email sent to its customers Monday, April 15.

“We are thrilled about this transition and are excited to welcome you and your pets to our new space. … We are dedicated to making this transition as seamless as possible for you and your pets,” the veterinary hospital said in the email.

The new 13,000-square-foot building is currently under construction near the intersection of 53rd Street and Eastern Avenue. Construction began last year.

The new building is built by RWE Design Build, based in Downers Grove, Illinois. A short video of the project can be found here.

  • Pet wellness and vaccination programs to prevent illnesses.
  • Animal medical services for diagnosing and treating health conditions.
  • Pet surgery including spay and neuter.
  • Pet dental cleanings and treatment to avoid serious dental diseases.

Kimberly Crest is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
