The third annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at K-Square, 119 E. Third St., Davenport, is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18.
The free, family-friendly event will feature Quad City Arts carolers with plenty of holiday cheer as the huge Christmas tree is illuminated for the first time this season. The lighting also takes place on the same day as the downtown Festival of Trees Holiday Parade and the opening day of the festival.
“There is no better way to usher in the holidays than to join us at K-Square as we light the
magnificent tree,” said Kyle Carter, executive director of the Downtown Davenport Partnership. “Each year, our crowd grows larger, as does the holiday spirit.”
