IowaWORKS, 1801A E. Kimberly Road, Davenport, will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, in observance of National Workforce Month.
During the event, people are invited to tour the center, meet with workforce partners, visit the information station and see a virtual reality training demonstration.
IowaWORKS offices across the state are highlighting National Workforce Month by hosting a number of events that showcase the education and training opportunities that are helping Iowans join the workforce.
IowaWORKS is also underscoring its virtual services that are available to any Iowan regardless of where they live – including in-depth workshops and one-on-one career assistance available online.
