WALCOTT, Iowa — The annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree drew 45,658 attendees over three days last week, celebrating America’s professional truck drivers.
The event, held at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, featured a Super Truck Beauty Contest, antique truck displays, concerts, and Trucker Olympics, according to a news release from organizers.
The Super Truck Beauty Contest showcased 87 trucks from 23 states, while over 90 historical vehicles from 12 states and one Canadian province were part of the Walcott antique truck display.
A highlight of the jamboree was the 100th birthday celebration for a 1925 Kenworth KS 3-Ton, hosted by the Iowa 80 Trucking Museum. Museum curator Dave Meier gave a presentation on the truck’s history, and cake was served to attendees.
The 48th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree is scheduled for July 9-11, 2026, at the Iowa 80 Truckstop, located at I-80 Exit 284 in Walcott.
