Huiskamp Collins Investments, LLC

 

New office building to increase office and meeting space to accommodate Heidi Huiskamp Collins’ growing client base and offered financial services. The firm will relocate from its Bettendorf office.

4500 E.56th Street, Davenport

OWNER/DEVELOPER: Huiskamp Collins Properties, LLC, Bettendorf.

CONTRACTOR: Bush Construction, Davenport.

ARCHITECT: Bush Construction, Davenport.

COST: $1.8 million.

SIZE: 5,300-square-feet building, 1.5-acre site.


Kwik Star

5007 53rd Ave. Bettendorf

 This full-service convenience store will mark the company’s 15th store in the Quad Cities. It is expected to open in September or October.

OWNER/DEVELOPER: Kwik Trip, La Crosse, Wisconsin.

CONTRACTOR: Kwik Trip, La Crosse. 

ARCHITECT: Vantage Architects, La Crosse.

COST: $2 million.

SIZE: 11,000 square feet.


 Project Renewal

 

513 Warren St. Davenport

A two-story building with a garage, fitness center and two apartments. This marks the first of three phases to expand space for programming for K-12 students.

OWNER/DEVELOPER: Project Renewal.

CONTRACTOR: Russell, Davenport.

ARCHITECT: Streamline Architects and Artisans, East Moline.

COST: $1 million.

SIZE: 3,700 square feet.


Scooter’s Coffee

4133 Kennedy Drive East Moline

A new drive-through coffee shop that will serve specialty coffee and baked-from-scratch pastries. Opening in the fall of 2024.

OWNER/DEVELOPER: Scooter’s Coffee, Omaha, Nebraska.

ARCHITECT: DXU Architects, Chicago, Illinois.

COST: $468,000.

SIZE: 900 square feet.


 

Springhill Suites by Marriott

5235 Competition Drive Bettendorf

 An 86-room hotel featuring guest rooms with a separate area for work and relaxation. Amenities will include free breakfast, indoor pool, fitness room, a meeting room and a 24-hour market. Opening in 2025.

OWNER/DEVELOPER: Frontier Hospitality Group, Bettendorf.

CONTRACTOR: Russell, Davenport. 

ARCHITECT: Ramaker & Associates, Sauk City, Wisconsin.

COST: $18 million.

SIZE: 58,640 square feet.


 Switch Plaza @ Middle Road

2570 Middle Road Bettendorf

 Six new inline suites for lease. First tenant is X-Golf, which will lease nearly half the facility for its innovative golf simulator experience. It will also offer a menu and full bar. Opening in the third quarter of 2024.

OWNER/DEVELOPER: 2570 Middle Road, LLC Dubuque, Iowa.

CONTRACTOR: Conlon Construction, Dubuque.

ARCHITECT: Axiom Consultants, Iowa City.

COST: $3 million.

SIZE: 13,400 square feet.
