ImpactLife blood donors can increase the positive impact that comes from giving blood under the Good Giving program . With the program, donors are given a voucher they can redeem for an electronic gift card, bonus points to use in the ImpactLife Donor Rewards Store, or they can make an equivalent value contribution to an important cause.
ImpactLife representatives donated $2,472 to River Bend Food Bank on April 18 from the Good Giving promotion that ended in December, when ImpactLife blood donors were given a voucher to redeem for their choice of an electronic gift card or to donate the same amount to support local food banks in the blood center’s service region. Blood donors directed $18,290 in support to food banks and this total is now being distributed to food banks that serve communities of the ImpactLife service region.
Donors who give blood with ImpactLife April 1 through June 30 can choose between a voucher to redeem for bonus points, an electronic gift card, or a donation to Best Friends Animal Society.
Best Friends Animal Society is working across the country to give pets a second chance and happy homes. Their partner network is comprised of thousands of public and private shelters, rescue groups, spay/neuter organizations and other animal welfare groups, all working to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like ours across the country.
The current ImpactLife donor promotions include:
- $10 gift card, $10 donation to Best Friends Animal Society, or 500 points. Double red procedures; plasma only procedures.
- $25 gift card, $25 donation to Best Friends Animal Society, or 1,500 points. Platelet procedure (donor has given platelets 2+ times previously with ImpactLife).
- $25 gift card, $25 donation to Best Friends Animal Society, or 1,500 points. Platelet procedure (donor’s first or second attempt to ever give platelets with ImpactLife).
- $50 gift card, $50 donation to Best Friends Animal Society, or 3,000 points
