Hotel Equities, (HE), a hotel owner, operator and developer based in Atlanta, Georgia, announced it has assumed management for the Element Moline in downtown Moline.
In a news release, the company said the Element, owned by Moline Promenade Investors, LLC, is an exciting addition to its expanding portfolio of properties in the Midwest.
“We are thrilled to welcome Element Moline into the Hotel Equities family,” said Al Smith, president of hotel operations for HE. “This property perfectly aligns with our commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences while embracing sustainable practices the Element brand is distinctly known for.”
Opened in March of 2018, the Element Moline is located at 316 12th St. in a former warehouse that was originally built for Sears, Roebuck & Co. It was last known as the O’Rourke Building (operating as a warehouse) before being sold to developers and converted into a hotel.
“We look forward to working closely with the ownership group and the dedicated team at Element Moline to elevate the hotel’s performance and guest satisfaction,” Mr. Smith said in the release.
The Element sits across from The Vibrant Arena at the Mark. Its prime location provides easy access to a variety of other nearby attractions and entertainment venues including the John Deere Pavilion, just 0.3 miles away, and the Quad City Botanical Center in nearby Rock Island.
