Holiday Shop Up to pop up in downtown Rock Island

Just in time for your last-minute holiday shopping, the Development Association of Rock Island (DARI) is hosting a Holiday Shop Up.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17, DARI is offering space to help local home-based businesses to experience storefront locations and help promote several existing downtown retailers for the holiday season.

DARI’s Holiday Shop Up in Downtown Rock Island will feature more than 20 businesses and pop-up retailers. 

Start your shopping day at the DARI office, located at 1629 Second Ave., where you can pick up a goodie bag, a list of shops and specials, and take a selfie with The Blues Brothers. 

Participating retailers include: American Bank & Trust; Big T Men’s Wear; Brick and Motor Boutique; Blush Bull Boutique; Coleman Florist; Cool Beans; Daily Goat Farm, Huckleberry’s Great Pizza; Karpeles Manuscript Museum; MJ’s Creative Candles; Nest Café; NormaLeah; Old Path Farms; Skeleton Key; Suzie the Swiss Baker; The Attic; The House with Flowers; Tidal Wave Energy Drinks; Vintage Varieties; What’s Poppin QC, and more.
