Happy Joe’s Pizza & Ice Cream has launched a new program to spotlight a different local nonprofit each month in an effort to provide its franchisees with a consistent, systemwide framework to support causes tied to families and their communities.

The Charity of the Month initiative focuses on organizations serving children, families, and vulnerable community members, creating opportunities for guests to feel their pizza night is contributing to a greater cause.

“Our restaurants are part of their communities, and this program gives teams a clear way to show up month after month,” said Tom Sacco, CEO, president, and chief happiness officer of Happy Joe’s. “It keeps our focus where it belongs — on families and the people who need support close to home.”

Last month, Happy Joe’s spotlighted a local women’s shelter or advocacy center, featuring Family Resources in Davenport.
