MUSCATINE, Iowa — Habitat for Humanity is hosting the Second Annual Christmas Tour of Homes, showcasing beautifully decorated homes throughout the Muscatine area, from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8.
Tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased online at muscatinehabitat.org or in person at 100 W. 2nd St., Muscatine.
This year’s Christmas Tour of Homes will feature a curated selection of stunning residences adorned in festive décor, with each home offering a unique holiday atmosphere. From traditional Christmas classics to modern holiday designs, the tour will celebrate the spirit of the season while raising funds for Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build affordable homes for families in need.
The event will begin at any house of your choice where participants can turn in tickets and receive a hand stamp, then continue through a selection of participating homes. Attendees will enjoy the charm and beauty of local homes, while also learning about Habitat for Humanity’s impactful work in the community.
“We are thrilled to bring back the Christmas Tour of Homes for its second year,” said Don Lampe, the president of Habitat’s board. “This event not only gives people a chance to experience the joy and beauty of the holiday season, but it also directly supports Habitat for Humanity’s efforts to provide safe, affordable housing to families in our community. It’s a wonderful way to give back during the holidays.”
Proceeds from the Christmas Tour of Homes will benefit Habitat for Humanity’s local building projects, which provide low-income families with the opportunity to own their own homes. These efforts are made possible through the generosity of local volunteers, donors, and community members.
