Grants to help vet-owned businesses

Veteran-owned tech startup businesses could get help from a grant program.

VetBiz, the Veterans’ Business Outreach Center (VBOC), has partnered with ArchGrants to provide a funding opportunity for veteran-owned businesses.

ArchGrants is looking for U.S. veteran founders of early-stage tech startups to apply for the 2022 Startup Competition. The program is open to veterans in the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Region VII including those in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.

ArchGrants funds entrepreneurs who want to build their companies in St. Louis with up to $100,000 in equity-free grants, plus access to an ecosystem or resources and support.

Grant applications will be accepted until April 15.

This is open to all veterans in the SBA region. There is an added incentive if they move to St. Louis, but the move is not required to apply.
