Gilda’s Club is hosting its free communitywide Halloween event called NoogieFest on Saturday, Oct. 14, rain or shine, and the organization needs individuals, businesses and organizations to host trunks for the trunk or treat portion of the event in the parking lot of Genesis West.
NoogieFest will run 3-5 p.m. Saturday at Gilda’s Club Quad Cities Davenport Clubhouse, 1351 W. Central Park Ave, Suite 200, Davenport. Those who are hosting a trunk are asked to set up in the parking lot at 2 p.m., according to a news release. Costumes are encouraged.
Inside the NoogieFest Clubhouse children can explore decorated rooms and participate in crafts and activities. Families will enjoy pizza, cookies, water and juice, and attendees may sign up to win a family fun basket door prize, the release states. Comedy Sportz also will perform improv shows throughout the event.
