Gilda’s Club is hosting a free creative art session from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 15, at Gilda’s Club Quad Cities Davenport Clubhouse, 1351 West Central Park Ave, Suite 200.
Join local artist Judy Costello for a no cost story box workshop. Participants will use wooden cigar boxes to create a personal memory/prayer box. The outside will be covered in collage images and words of how others see you. On the inside of the creative art work, participants will collage images that give them strength.
All materials will be provided, including magazine images and texture items, but participants can bring other items to add if they choose.
The creative art program is being offered in-person. Registration is required and spots are limited.
